Senior 2D Artist

HoopTech Games is expanding our team and looking for an experienced 2D Game Artist to help bring our vibrant game worlds to life. What You'll Do

• Create captivating 2D art assets including characters, environments, UI, props, and visual effects
• Collaborate closely with game designers, programmers, and fellow artists
• Iterate and refine artwork based on feedback, maintaining high quality and consistency
• Leverage AI and other tools to enhance your creative workflow
• Mentor junior artists and establish best practices
• Contribute to art direction, style guides, and feedback loops

What We're Looking For

• A strong portfolio showcasing your 2D art skills, versatility, and passion for games
• Experience with Spine animation or similar tools
• Proficiency in tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, Spine, or equivalents
• A deep love for games and understanding of diverse game art styles
• Genuine excitement to experiment with AI art tools and emerging technologies
• Excellent communication skills and ability to explain artistic choices
• Strong leadership capabilities and advanced technical art skills

Nice to Have

• Experience in video creation and editing
• Familiarity with Unity or other game engines
• Understanding of UI/UX design principles
• A proven track record of shipping games
